So, How Can I Help You?
Do you feel like you’re in the twilight zone, waking every other hour with your baby? They aren’t a newborn anymore, but they just can’t seem to figure out this whole sleep thing. Together we will pinpoint & implement changes to your child’s sleep and soon they (and the entire family) will be Amazing Little Sleepers! Napping and Long, Restful Nights
Before working with Valerie my son was waking up every hour for the night and only napping in his swing after a huge song and dance to get him to sleep. Valerie was able to pinpoint every issue we were having, give us suggestions on what to do and always had an explanation as to why we’re doing what we are doing. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about what she does! We couldn’t have gotten to where we are now without her support. She was always available and willing to help us during our sons sleep training. When I felt discouraged she was always there with a positive spin on the situation and always made me feel comfortable with the process.
Now my son is taking three naps a day in his crib and sleeping 11 to 12 hours a night! We are all much more well rested, less stressed and much more happy! – Deanna, mother to a 5-month-old, NE

FAQ’s
I’ve spent my money, time and energy learning how children sleep so I can share that knowledge with you! My wide range of knowledge isn’t just about the sleep methods, but also about the science of sleep and the developmental stages of children. When I’m working with you, I take all that knowledge, as well as your child’s age, temperament, and your family needs into account when creating a sleeping plan for you. The biggest aspect to making sleep training a success is support. I will provide you with crucial follow-up support while you’re implementing my advice, answering any questions or doubt and encouraging you throughout this process. You have the hardest job of implementing the sleep plan, but you will never be alone. I will be here, every step of the way, to help you work through the plan. Together, we can celebrate the success of your Amazing Little Sleeper!
You can’t put a price tag on a well-rested family.
• Sleeping through the night
• Dropping nighttime feedings
• Early morning risers
• Bedtime battles
• Establishing nap schedules
• Nap transitions (from two to one, from one to none)
• Getting back on schedule after an illness or travel
• Moving from the crib into a big kid’s bed
• Expecting parents preparing for a new baby or sibling
As a mother myself, I understand the desires and goals of mothers who want to breastfeed. More importantly, I encourage you to reach these goals and nurse as long as you desire. I happily and successfully breastfed my daughter for one year and plan to do the same with Baby #2. If breastfeeding is important to you, it is important to me! With my education and experience, I also know when sleep is interrupted because of feedings (bottle or breastfeeding). Even with a successful year of nursing, my daughter slept 11-12 consolidated hours each night (with a possible feeding or two, age dependent). Food and sleep are both biological needs, don’t underestimate that fact.
• Sleep consultants can help differentiate between feeding problems and sleeping problems.
• Very possible to modify a baby’s sleep routine while continuing to breastfeed.
• Many breastfeeding mom’s who successfully use sleep consultants have reported that babies are happier, and some feel the babies eat better as well have made developmental gains because they are better rested.
• My job is to help establish healthy sleep habits and support them in their additional goals (i.e. breastfeeding).
